Reviews of Hotel Las Cigalas

It was the worst hotel and the most expensive of our tripalong the canal du midi. Drain smell in room, dull lighting, dirty court yard. Unwelcoming host.no bath towel, hand towel so old not much use. Staff unfriendly, never a greeting or a smile. The best part of stay at Las cigalas was when we check out. Lovely village.

The owners were lovely and friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel is in a fab little village outside Beziers town which has everything you could want. The hotel is a very short walk from the centre. great little place.

I thought the hospitality was superb. Hans was brilliant, really helpful and friendly and I would recommend the hotel to anyone. Our stay felt like being at home rather than in a hotel. Brilliant location and value for money.

Hans and Christine are very friendly and welcoming, and helpful with information about the area. Hans speaks very good English if that is important. Breakfast is a standard continental breakfast but there is more than enough and the patisserie and home made jam is excellent. Rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. Flocon the family dog is totally adorable but we were not permitted to take her home!

Made to feel very welcome by the owner (Hans) - who came and picked us up from the airport and gave advice and recommendations on where to eat and visit in the local area. The homemade jam for breakfast, relaxed atmosphere and bikes that could be borrowed all added to the experience. The location was great for visiting Beziers or the beach - either by bike along the canal or by bus.
Limited communal seating, which meant that you either had to stay in the room or go out.

The very helpful and friendly staff made me feel very welcome. I feel the staff did everything they could to make the stay a pleasant one. Also supplied lots of pamplets, brochures and maps over the area and gave lots of tips of places of interest in the area. This is a very warm and friendly place i want to recommend to everyone.
I cant think of a single thing i wasnt pleased with.
